GENERAL INFO & BENEFITS

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN Australia | P.O. leaves | Extracted by steam distillation

We're thrilled to bring you this exceptional essential oil of eucalyptus. It truly is essential and should be on hand in every household for all the reasons you'll read about here.

Known as narrow-leaved peppermint, eucalyptus radiata is a powerful antiviral and respiratory oil which is gentler than eucalyptus globulus, making it the eucalyptus of choice for use with children.

Eucalyptus radiata possesses excellent anti-infectious abilities when diffused for colds, flu, and acute or chronic respiratory infections. It has a particular affinity for the upper lungs.

Eucalyptus radiata is about all things ‘decongestant’. It's decongesting to the respiratory system, to the skin, to nasal passages, to ears when congested, to any part of the body that is congested.

Due to its high 1,8 cineole content it is particularly beneficial when diffused during respiratory infection and is very cooling when used in a sponge bath to reduce fever.

Extremely effective as a chest rub when blended with Carrier Oil; add Tea Tree and Lavender to create a blend for a powerful synergy for chest rub.

Eucalyptus radiata has energizing abilities that are particularly of benefit with chronic fatigue or immune deficiency. May relieve headache, neuralgia, sciatica, and nervous exhaustion.

A great oil to use for skin care needs - including acne, skin ulcers, herpes simplex, cuts, blisters, and insect bites.

An effective and soothing liniment when blended with carrier oil for relief from pain associated with arthritis, rheumatism, muscular aches and pains, etc.

BATH
• Mix with ¼ - ½ cup Dead Sea Salts or Magnesium Chloride Epsom Flakes, or just plain water, and use it as a bath or a sponge bath for children with fever.

• Combine with Tea Tree to provide additional relief of congestion. Particularly helpful in children’s rooms when they are congested and can’t sleep.

INHALATION
Inhale by applying 2 drops on hands, rub, and inhale deeply as needed.

MASSAGE
• Create an effective chest rub by putting 5 drops each of Eucalyptus Radiata, Tea Tree and Lavender into 1 oz. of Carrier Oil and massage over the lung area.

• If ear congestion is present, massage a small amount around and behind the ear, over the mastoid bone, and along the Eustachian tube. (Never drop essential oils directly into ear.)

MISTING SPRAY
• Mix 15–20 drops in 4 oz. distilled water in cobalt blue spray bottle. Shake gently and spray to cool off on warm summer days, or in times when suffering from a fever.
